Who Are We

Based in Milford, Surrey, BS-L are a new Web Design Company whose aim is to give those in business a competitive chance in the World-Wide Web.  Using the Joomla platform we design a web site that suits you and your budget.    

Our Products

We integrate modules and components that enhance your business on the Internet.  We source these from within the Joomla community but if needed we can code directly ourselves.   Our main aim is to create a site that does justice to our clients and ourselves as economically as possible.

Prices and Costs

We are aware that the Government austerity measures are creating apprehension in the business world and that is particularly so in the smaller businesses and sole trader areas.  That is why we have developed our own pricing policy to reflect that.  We do not believe that advertising YOUR business on the Internet should be restrictive just because of cost.  We have a small initial cost only when YOU have approved the design of YOUR site, then a monthly hosting fee that covers maintenance of the site and further development if YOU require it. As a registered ISP we register your site with Nominet and host the site at a data centre in Manchester.

The site is designed to give you an idea and a feel of what BS-L can do for you and your business.  We are trying to showcase elements that may help you.  It is only a guide, the final layout and design will be yours.  Whether you include all or none of the elements we have used is ultimately your decision. 

Please keep re-visiting our site as the contents will change as new modules and components become available.  The Internet is always developing and we aim to keep developing with it.

Why Joomla

Joomla is the most popular open source CMS currently available as evidenced by a vibrant and growing community of friendly users and talented developers. Joomla's roots go back to 2000 and has over 200,000 community users and contributors.  At present there are over 8700 extensions for the Joomla framework.  That is why BS-L feel that within this growing community there will be an extension that fits your need.

This sounds too good to be true.   Yes there is a drawback, not all of these extensions are free to use, some need a donation or a link back.  However we have found that these donations are not financially restrictive and offer excellent value for money.  If we feel your web-site needs a particular "paid" extension we will advise you, not only of the cost, but also the value it represents.
